Dunes Motel Hillsboro, Hillsboro

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positive and negative experiences. The rooms were private, clean, and equipped with a great A/C system, although there was a slight funny smell. On the bright side, the room rates were quite affordable.

I found the hotel to be conveniently located in downtown Hillsboro, surrounded by several restaurants and close to everything I needed. The rooms, although equipped with a microwave oven and refrigerator, were not entirely ready for my stay, but the two queen beds were comfortable. The service was a mix of unexpected friendliness in a modest motel, yet there was an unfortunate incident where my incense was mistaken for smoking, which led to a concerning interaction. The hotel's location was ideal for my needs but somewhat out of the way. Unfortunately, the lack of available dining options was a downside, even with a wish for fruits. However, the absence of dining options was compensated by a quiet ambiance.

The rooms were toasty warm with 2 queen beds, a small microwave, and a fridge, but the lack of ventilation led to a 'sink' smell building up if the air-con wasn't on.
